Arsenal know a victory will secure them qualification to the knockout stages of the competition and will therefore look to field a strong team. After another poor showing over the weekend, Per Mertesacker could be dropped for Laurent Koscielny while Gervinho and Mikel Arteta could be rested in place of Tomas Rosicky and Marouane Chamakh.

The Gunners have no new injury concerns but still lack the expertise of long-term absentees Jack Wilshere and Abou Diaby.

After a mediocre performance over the weekend against Bayern Munich, Kevin Grosskreutz could be Jurgen Klopp's only change of the game as Chris Lowe could come in to replace him.

Sotirios Kyrgiakos is still recovering from a broken cheekbone while Neven Subotic is a couple of weeks away from returning to action for Dortmund.
