Al Wehdat Sports Club of Amman lost its opener 2-1 against Uzbek side Neftchi in an away match before they utilised their home advantage by defeating Omani outfit Al Arouba by the same margin in Jordan.

The Green Ultras however have a good reason to be wary of Salgaocar SC given that a 2-0 loss would let the Indian team move up a position above them after the I-League side managed a point against Neftchi in Goa before going down by a goal to Al Arouba in Oman.

Currently placed second in Group D with three points, Al Wehdat have a superior goal difference compared to Al Arouba who face Neftchi (4), while Salgaocar also have an opportunity to bridge the three point gap between them and the table toppers.

Branko Smiljanic will have to do without defender Basem Fathi and captain Rafat Ali in the midfield area due to suspension when his side faces the visiting team from India.
