  PREVIEW

The Flaming Oranje had a miserable tally of 4 points out of their last 7 games before they took on Prayag United. The Goans however, gave their Spanish coach the perfect New Year gift as they strolled past Prayag United to win 3-1. What was impressive about the victory was that they were playing away from home and against a side who had top players in each position.

Their next assignment though will not be easy as they face an unpredictable outfit, in the form of Air India and will have to be at their best again if they want to get anything out of this encounter.

The home side, Air India won in their last meeting against Sporting with a comfortable 1-0 victory. The Airmen cannot  afford to be complacent against The Flaming Oranje. Anthony Fernandes will expect a reaction from his players after they got thrashed by lowly Salgaocar in the previous game. The coach partly blamed his players for failing to adjust to the Duler pitch and it will be interesting to see how they perform at the Balewadi Sports Complex on Saturday.

A tough proposition overall, one would expect the home side to win in their backyard, but it all depends on which Air India shows up on the day.
