  PREVIEW

Shillong Lajong FC have just returned from their trip to Goa where faced a huge loss (6-0) against league leaders Churchill Brothers SC, but managed to bring home a point after frustrating Sporting Clube de Goa to a goalless draw.

Desmond Bulpin's side however have been very shady in front of goal as the Reds have scored the minimum number of goals (12) among the 13 teams. Lajong will be hoping for Ebi Sukore's inclusion to pep up Friday Gbeneme's form.

Can Sukore fill in the void for Lajong?

Dempo SC have meanwhile had a few extra days of rest and preparation against the North-eastern outfit in the cold-weathered conditions of Shillong, as their Round 15 match against Mohun Bagan was cancelled due to the Mariners' ban.

Armando Colaco will be looking for some resolve from his side in their run at the top of the table, especially after their defeat to Prayag United SC in their last match. Dempo will also be looking to close the five point gap between Churchill Brothers and themselves.

  TEAM NEWS

Shillong Lajong FC: Sushil Singh will miss the match as the striker picked his fourth yellow card against Sporting Goa in their last match, but the good news for Desmond Bulpin will be the return of Ebi Sukore to the squad.

Dempo SC: Debabrata Roy got a double booking in the Goan's last match against Prayag United, while fellow-defender Cresson Antao is ruled out injured. Ryuji Sueoka is a doubtful starter although the Japanese has resumed training.
