  PREVIEW

Pailan Arrows have been a different side altogether ever since Australian Arthur Papas took over the team this season. The All India Football Federation's (AIFF) developmental side have played some positive and attacking football that has seen them upset the odds to lie sixth in the table on 14 points, on par with Kolkata bigwigs Prayag United. The Arrows ruthlessly shrugged off the challenge of ONGC last week with a resounding 4-1 win and now face a Churchill Brothers side who have looked comvincing this season. It will be interesting to see if Papas does make any changes to the side that beat ONGC as he would not want to disturb a winning combination.

Churchill Brothers will be without the services of star striker Beto who picked up a double booking in the Goans' game against Prayag United. Mariano Dias' team were held to a 0-0 draw by United Sikkim in the previous round and will look to make amends against a Pailan Arrows side that are proving doubters wrong with every passing day.

The Goan side will need to ensure that they bring their A-game to Kolkata as the Arrows have shown that they are not afraid of the household names of the I-League. This match will be an interesting watch as both sides stress on possession-based football and have attack-minded approaches during the game.

  TEAM NEWS

Pailan Arrows – Arthur Papas may name an unchanged side as he does not have to contend with any injury or suspension worries.

Churchill Brothers – Steven Dias may get the nod to start after coming on as a substitute in the game against United Sikkim. Brazilian Beto is still suspended after picking up a double booking against Prayag United. Henry Antchouet will in all probabilities start alongside Akram Moghrabi.
