One wouldn't have imagined Pailan Arrows to remain unbeaten at the end of four rounds in the I-League, after not losing a single game at the Federation and Durand Cups taking the tally to nine matches.
The young Indian side began their league campaign on a high with victories over Mumbai FC and Air India before the Arrows were lucky to get away with a point in their last two goalless stalemates with Salgaocar FC and United Sikkim FC.

Pune FC also got off to a good start in the I-League with back-to-back wins against ONFC FC and Mumbai FC in hard fought encounters that ended with a similar score-line of 3-2 at home. Thereafter they faced a stern test in East Bengal and faltered to a 1-0 defeat. In the game against Churchill Brothers, they conceded a late penalty to lose all three points.
Derrick Pereira has backed the performance of his boys throughout the season, although he might feel that his side were "unlucky" not to pick points in Pune FC's last two matches in which they dominated the proceedings.
Pailan Arrows: Arthur Papas has admitted to rotating his side with a possibility of three changes from the team that played the last match against United Sikkim.
Pune FC: Suspended defender Caitano Costa will be replaced by Zohmingliana Ralte while Jeje Lalpekhlua has traveled to Kolkata after recovering from an Achilles tendon.
