    Ali Ahamada

Stood little chance with any of PSG’s goals, but showed his shot-stopping abilities to keep Ibrahimovic from adding more to his personal tally. The highlight of his match was an athletic save to push a lob over the top.

  • Cheikh MBengue

Cheikh MBengue Flop of the Match

Struggled down the left side of the field as PSG often targeted this channel to overload, and the unsettled nature of his performance was displayed by a short back pass in the first half that was nearly punished by Lavezzi. Saw red just before the break for picking up a second booking.

  • Serge Aurier

    Serge Aurier

Rather caught under the cross as Pastore volleyed PSG into the lead and was the supposed to be the man marking Ibrahimovic as the visitors added their second. Saw the Swede blast by him in the build up for the fourth. Did not show his attacking prowess on an evening to forget.

  • Aymen Abdennour

    Aymen Abdennour

The surprise starter in the Toulouse side, having only returned to the Pink City following Afcon duty on Thursday, but this was a gamble that did not pay off. Was not entirely himself in this clash, and after an exhausting period, that is little surprise.

  • Steeve Yago

    2.50

    Steeve Yago

Struggled badly in both previous meetings between the sides this season, and though he did not make any grave errors in this clash, he was not an especially composed presence and struggled to hold the line.

  • Etienne Didot

    2.50

    Etienne Didot

The wily veteran was one of Toulouse’s livelier attacking threats in this encounter, as he showed his ability to get away from challenges and also displayed guile that his team-mates did not boast.

  • Franck Tabanou

    Franck Tabanou

Showed in flashes why he is so highly thought of in Toulouse. Danced by a couple of players in a daring first-half run, but his side’s evening was summed up as the pass back to him was well over hit. Was willing to try his luck from distance, even if he failed to really worry Sirigu.

    François Paxti Sirieix

Had one shot fly comfortably over the top during the opening period but struggled to compete and was the man sacrificed as Ninkov came into the match at the break.

  • Etienne Capoue

    2.50

    Etienne Capoue

Was reportedly heavily courted by Premier League clubs in the transfer window, but showed little evidence of why in this encounter. Normally such an influence in the heart of the Toulouse midfield, he struggled to get a grip on this encounter.

  • Wissam Ben Yedder

    Wissam Ben Yedder

Electric in the early stages of the season, the forward has been rather more subdued in recent times. Finds his place under threat from deadline day signing Eden Ben Basat, but this was not a performance that cemented his starting pass as he was peripheral to things for long periods.

  • Yannick Djaló

    Yannick Djaló

Failed to make any inroads into the PSG defence during the first half and was replaced by the more defensively-minded Jean-Daniel Akpa-Akpro at the break.

    Jean-Daniel Akpa-Akpro

Brought on during the pause as a damage-limitation exercise and was another who failed to make a mark in this clash.

  • Pavle Ninkov

    2.00

    Pavle Ninkov

Introduced at half-time in order to plug the gap left by Mbengue, but failed to fill in adequately.

  • Salvatore Sirigu
    2

    3.00

    Salvatore Sirigu

Extended his record-breaking streak without conceding a goal, and in truth was never really tested over the course of this match. Continues to dominate his area in imperious style and has not conceded a league goal since December 1.

  • Mamadou Sakho
    1
    0
    3.50

    Mamadou Sakho

Not the most testing game the young centre-back has ever had. Indeed, he was never called into evasive action, which pays testimony to his sense of positioning over the course of the match, but also shows the frailties of the opposition. Scored PSG’s third with a good back-post header.

  • Maxwell

    Maxwell

Guarantees a steady performance when he is in the side, and the Brazilian was his usual reliable self in this match. Djalo never had a sniff of getting by him. Supported the forward players sensibly and nearly created a goal for Ibrahimovic.

  • Sylvain Armand

    3.50

    Sylvain Armand

Featured once again in the centre of the defence due to a proliferation of injury problems in this area of the side. A comfortable evening for the veteran, whose more habitual role is left-back.

  • Christophe Jallet
    0
    0
    3.00

    Christophe Jallet

Occasionally caught too high up the field, which allowed Tabanou opportunities to attack behind him. Indeed, the right-back was the weak link in the back four tonight as he looked the only man who may be breeched. Withdrawn on 65 minutes.

  • Blaise Matuidi
    1
    0
    3.00

    Blaise Matuidi

Worked tirelessly throughout this match, as is his custom. Did not produce heroics, but that is not his role. Was dynamic and can be pleased with another comfortable showing.

  • Marco Verratti
    4
    0
    3.00

    Marco Verratti

Finds his place under threat from the arrival of David Beckham, but produced an extremely tidy performance in Haut Garonne. Barely gave the ball away and was correct throughout this encounter.

  • Javier Pastore
    5
    0
    3.00

    Javier Pastore

A somewhat surprising start in place of Menez, but justified his coach’s selection after only three minutes as he volleyed home the opening goal. Despite this strong start, the former Palermo star failed to really kick on and was bullied off the ball too regularly and also gifted possession away too cheaply. Did improve again in the second half when there was more space on offer.

  • Lucas

    1
    4.00

    Lucas

Continues to impress for his new club, and though he is still seeking his first goal, he grabbed his second and third assists in four league matches. His first was a measured cross for Ibrahimovic to head home, and the second was an almost carbon copy for Sakho.

  • Zlatan Ibrahimovic
    15
    1
    4.00

Zlatan Ibrahimovic Top of the Match

Maintained his record of scoring in every away Ligue 1 game he has played in this season with a textbook downward header before the break. Had a hand in the opening goal, even if he did not supply the decisive pass, but his best moment was a surging run that made Van der Wiel’s strike a formality.

  • Ezequiel Lavezzi
    8
    0
    3.50

    Ezequiel Lavezzi

Supplied the ammunition for Pastore to open the scoring after only three minutes with a tidy cross, but at times his decision making was questionable. Willing to commit defenders and showed plenty of trickery to create spaces.

Substitutions

  • Gregory van der Wiel

    Gregory van der Wiel

Given a run out with 25 minutes remaining in place of the disappointing Jallet and got on the scoresheet with a tap in.
