Made a good punch from a corner in the first half and did what he wasn't able to at the Bernabeu as he saved a Ronaldo shot with his legs. Looked nervous occasionally with the ball at his feet. Couldn't be blamed for the goals, though.
A steady presence on the left-hand side for Barcelona. Gave the ball away once or twice but was largely solid. Didn't get forward as much as he can do. One foray into the area in the first half came to nothing but a positive performance overall.
His block deflected Cristiano's cross out for a corner in the first half on the near post. He then came out to make a good headed clearance with Ronaldo racing through. Slid along the turf to no avail as he was unable to cut out the Portuguese's angled drive.
Looked languid early on as Ronaldo got into some good positions and he failed to look alert as Higuain went clear in the opening seconds, but was generally solid alongside Puyol. Made one superb interception to cut out Pepe's ball into the box, but his poor pass let Benzema level the match.
Smashed a free kick into the wall early on, then won the ball with some wonderful skill after that. Kept quiet down the flank by Ronaldo but popped up with a fantastic finish as he drove an unstoppable angled drive into the top corner to make it 2-0.
Extraordinary control to shake off Lass in the opening minutes. Fantastic ball into the area for Alexis late in the first half but the Chilean went down under a challenge from Pepe. Curled a free kick over the bar early in the second period, then a fantastic 'roulette' in the second half earned him roars of approval from the Camp Nou crowd on his 32nd birthday.
Cut out Pepe's attempted flick-on to concede a corner after 20 minutes and sat deep to protect his defence but gave away too many balls in what was a poor performance by his standards. Offered little in an attacking sense.
Wonderful turn to fund himself space after 10 minutes between two Real defenders but his evening came to a premature end after he clashed with Arbeloa and was replaced by Pedro.
Not Cesc's greatest night. Forced deep early on and unable to link up with Messi as he likes to, he didn't provide much of a goal threat and looked lost between the midfield and the attack. Took a bad blow to the face on the wing from Pepe, who was again out of control.
Ran through midfield and defence early on to win a free kick, then side-footed wide from outside the box after 15 minutes. Set up Pedro for the opener after 43 minutes after a glorious run and saw an effort fizz just past the post with the scores at 2-2. Not his best night, but still heavily involved.
Failed to control in the area when he raced onto a dangerous ball after 11 minutes, then saw his cross deflected straight to Casillas after good work from Alves. Went down under two challenges from Pepe and was unlucky not to get at least one penalty. Lively and participative.
Came on for Cesc in the second half but the breathless end to the contest seemed to pass him by.
Always seems to do well against Real Madrid and did again as he replaced Iniesta and troubled the visitors with his pace and movement. Produced a neat finish for the first goal and gave the Madrid defence plenty to worry about. Missed headed chance late on.
Nothing he could do about either of the goals, but the Madrid keeper did remain alert throughout and made a couple of decent stops as well as some vital interventions. Once again, though, it wasn't enough.
The good, the bad and the ugly again from Pepe. His poor pass-back forced Casillas into a rash clearance early on, but he made a great tackle to deny Messi in each half. Lucky not to give away a penalty when he clattered into Alexis twice, played one decent ball into the Barca area in the second period, but lashed out at Cesc, and produced a number of horrible fouls. Was jeered constantly by the home support.
Won the ball cleanly off Puyol in the area in the first half and made another good clearance following a dangerous cross into the box. Headed home a free-kick early in the second half but was penalised for a foul on Dani Alves. Some excellent defending but saw red at the end after he jumped with Sergio Busquets and was punished, harshly, for a raised arm.
One excellent tackle to stop Alexis in his tracks in the first half and another vital block in the second, the Portuguese looked accomplished in the left-back position as Madrid largely defended well. A couple of cynical fouls, but otherwise decent.
Partly to blame as Pedro was left all alone for the first goal and produced one or two unseemly moments. Clashed with Iniesta and the Barca midfielder was forced to depart. Generally solid as Madrid performed stoutly in defence.
Freed Ronaldo on a decent attack after 12 minutes but the Portuguese saw his shot saved. Showed some neat touches and good skill to shake off defenders but injuries have taken their toll and he lacked pace, losing possession too easily.
Twice set up Ronaldo for a decent opportunity early on, then shot straight at Pinto midway through the half but the whistle had already gone for offside. Wonderful long-range effort rebounded off the bar and down almost on the line short of the half-hour mark. Set up Ronaldo for the Portuguese's goal and looked quality every time he touched the ball. Lasted the distance, too.
Worked incredibly hard in midfield and was full of running. Recycled possession well and played a lot of passes as he kept the Madrid midfield ticking over. Looked frustrated again at times but it was a good showing overall.
Scythed down Messi with a poor tackle on the edge of the box and the free kick led to Alves' goal, and already on a booking, was extremely fortunate not to see red. Lost possession too often and offered little in an attacking sense. Was replaced by Granero after 52 minutes.
Sent an angled drive wide from the left early on when he should have tested Pinto. Deflected shot saved by Pinto's legs later on and blasted over with a long-range effort after that. Did well defensively against Alves and got Madrid back in it with a fine finish as he took the ball round Pinto and slid home.
Raced on to a loose ball early on but shot woefully wide, missing a chance that would given his side a dream start to the contest. Forced Pinto into a close-range save after that, but failed to get into the game for the second Clasico running and Benzema looked much sharper when he came on.
Replaced Lass after 52 minutes and gave Madrid a more creative outlet in central midfield, while still working hard defensively. His superior ball skills helped Madrid see more of the possession in the second period.
Came on as a substitute with just under half an hour left and his fresh legs gave Madrid a new outlet. He also worked hard defensively as he tracked back to regain possession against a tired Barca late on.
Came on and looked much sharper than Higuain, scored a good goal and got back into midfield and even defence to help out as his team gave everything to turn things around in the final minutes.
