Sporting Clube de Goa overcame a fighting Pailan Arrows 3-2, in an entertaining encounter of round 14 of the I-League at the Yuba Bharati Krinangan, on Friday.
Victorina Fernandes scored the opening goal in the 14th minute which was followed by Pailan Arrows' equaliser by CS Sabeeth 14 minutes later.
There were two more goals before the half-time as Bijendra Rai and Rowllin Borjes found the back of the net to make it 2-2.
Just as the match looked to be headed for a 2-2 draw, Ogba Kalu Nnanna scored the winner to ensure that his team gets full points from the tie.
Sporting Clube de Goa now have 17 points from 14 matches while the Indian FA's developmental team have to settle with being just above HAL SC at the bottom of the table.
