Tottenham - Rubin Kazan Preview: Top Of Table Clash As Spurs Look To Keep Up Winning Ways In Group A

Russian and English sides meeting opponents from their respective countries for the first time in tussle at the top of their qualifying group

Spurs will likely start with the back four that ended the game against Newcastle, though with Andros Townsend drafted in for regular starter Benoit Assou-Ekotto. Otherwise, it’s likely that Harry Redknapp will stick to his guns for the side that convincingly saw off Shamrock in the second half of their last Europa League outing.

Visiting coach Kurban Berdyev should have key men Obafemi Martins and Nelson Valdez fit for the trip to London and with the coach likely to want to pull away at the top of Group A against a Spurs side who picked things up in its last European encounter, its’ likely the Russian will field a side close to the one which started against PAOK Salonika
