  • Amazing scenes here in Trieste. I've been Alex Mott, thanks for joining me. And if you're a Juve fan and want to tell me why you deserve the scudetto, or a Milan fan and feel robbed, tweet me @alexjmott.
  • There's a mass pitch invasion here. And the party has only just begun for these Bianconeri fans.
  • 90' + 2'
And that's it. The referee blows for full time, with the scoreline here in Trieste: Cagliari 0-2 Juventus. AND JUVENTUS ARE SCUDETTO CHAMPIONS!!
  • 90'
We'll have two minutes of added time here. And Conte is already running down the touchline, waving at fans.
  • 89'
This game has really descended into nothing, as the fans and players on the bench are already celebrating.
  • 88'
Another roar comes around the ground, as we hear that Maicon has made it Inter 4-2 Milan.
  • 87'
Conti plays a delicious ball over the top of Caceres into the path of Larrivey. Buffon though, reads the situation brilliantly, and comes out to just pump the ball upfield.
  • 85'
It's Cagliari with the ball now. Conti has it in the centre circle, but he's got very few options as Juventus have put all 11 of their men behind the ball.
  • 83'
Juve are just keeping the ball amongst themselves now. Cagliari have seemingly given up hope of spoiling the party.
  • 81'
The singing is absolutely relentless now. Conte has told his players what's happening in Milan, and he's celebrating like they've already won the Scudetto.
  • 80'
A huge roar goes around the Nereo Rocco, as news from San Siro reaches us that Diego Milito has scored a hat trick, to make it Inter 3-2 Milan.
  • 77'
And is that the goal that wins the Scudetto for Juventus?
  • 74'
    Assist M. Cáceres
  • 74'
    Own Goal Michele Canini
GOOOAAALLLL!!! And it's two for Juventus. A cross from the right by Caceres was aimed in at Borriello, but Canini got there first, and unwittingly looped the ball over Agazzi and into the back of the net.
  • 73'
WOOFFF!!! That was very nearly two for Vucinic. The Montengrin cut in from the left, and struck it high towards goal from 25 yards. Agazzi though, was cat-like in his reflexes, and tipped it around the post.
  • 72'
@XmmarocksX takes a slightly different angle on proceedings: "it's true juve need a world class striker but MORE importantly take their chances wherever they come from." Aren't they linked though?
  • 71'
    SubstitutionAlessandro Matri Marco Borriello
  • 71'
Cossu fires another warning to this Juve side. From the left, he cuts inside, and from the edge of the area, fires a shot at goal. The effort is just wide, but you have the feeling one of these might go in soon.
  • 69'
Oh Pirlo. That is class. With the deftness of a ballerina, he takes the ball past two Cagliari midfielders with just one touch. And then, with the second, plays a through ball into the path of Matri. The former Cagliari man though, is offside.
  • 68'
@Alchemist1122 has come in with this: "Don't worry @mathewnevin, it doesn't take world class talents to score offside goals like Juve." Touche.
  • 67'
Meanwhile, on the pitch, Vucinic receives the ball on the edge of the Cagliari area, and goes for an ambitious shot on the turn. The effort isn't far away, but it does go over the bar.
  • 65'
@CorioLouis has weighed in with this gem: "Problem for Juve is that Conte's setup sees the strikers creating chances for midfielders, should be the reverse." I can't agree more.
  • 64'
Pepe has it now on the left-hand side. He tries to trick his way past Pisano, but the former Udinese man slips as he tries to get a cross in, and the Italian full back clears the ball.
  • 62'
    SubstitutionVíctor Ibarbo Joaquin Larrivey
  • 62'
@FMN13 asks: "Is there anything Juve can do to tie this up?" Answer: take their chances. The same as it has been all season.
  • 60'
@mathewnevin has replied. And it's very good: "they'll only solve this [issue with too many draws] when they buy a world class partner for Vucinic."
  • 58'
Pepe has a first time shot from 25 yards, after Vucinic had laid him in. The shot though, is a weak one, and Agazzi gets down to save easily.
  • 57'
Vucinic has it now for Juve on the edge of the Cagliari area. The former Roma man then tries to just slip in Cacreres down the right, but the Uruguayan's touch is too heavy and the ball runs out for a goal kick.
  • 54'
    Yellow Card Simone Pepe
  • 54'
News from San Siro: Milito scores his second to draw Inter level.
  • 53'
    SubstitutionArturo Vidal Emanuele Giaccherini
  • 53'
@mathewnevin asks: "another draw for Juve?" It could well be Mathew, as Cossu drives through the Juve defence and into the area. He goes down under a challenge from Chiellini, but the referee waves play on, and books Cossu for diving.
  • 52'
    Yellow Card Andrea Cossu
  • 52'
That there, from Vidal, has been indicative of how Juve have played today. The former Leverkusen man tried to play a simple 10 yard, square ball to Caceres, but he plays it too far in front of the full back, and the ball goes out for a throw in.
  • 50'
Chiellini concedes a free kick on the right-hand touchline. It's swung in by Conti, but it's overhit, and the ball runs all the way out for a throw in.
  • 49'
    SubstitutionThiago Ribeiro Andrea Cossu
  • 48'
    Yellow Card Giorgio Chiellini
  • 48'
Conti brings the ball over the halfway line and tries to play in Pinilla. Bonucci though, comes in from behind, and dispossesses the Chilean.
  • 47'
Silence in Trieste, as Ibrahimovic has scored right from kick off for Milan. The Rossoneri lead 2-1 now. Here, Pirlo wins and takes a free kick for Juve, but his shot hits the wall from 30 yards.
  • 46'
We're back. And in the pouring rain, Juventus get us underway, kicking from right-to-left.
  • And that's it. The referee blows for half time, with the scoreline here in Trieste: Cagliari 0-1 Juventus. I'll be back in 15 minutes, but in the meantime, hit me up, @alexjmott on Twitter.
  • 45' + 2'
Incidentally, we're in the middle of four minutes of added time.
  • 45' + 2'
OHH!!! Pepe, on the left-hand side of the box, cut back onto his right foot, and tried to curl the ball into the far corner. He was close, but the ball just shaved the outside of the woodwork.
  • 45'
News from San Siro: Zlatan Ibrahimovic scores a penalty to equalise for Milan.
  • 45'
Caceres has been bombing forward brilliantly well since he's come on. And he nearly got on the end of a long ball from Bonucci there. The pass though, was a tad overhit, and Agazzi comes out to collect.
  • 43'
A cross comes in from Ekdal, deep from the right-hand side, but Buffon comes out and collects it well.
  • 41'
Nainggolan has done brilliantly well there. The Belgian hassled Caceres down by the left-hand corner flag, and forced the Uruguayan to concede a corner. The corner though, is useless, and Bonucci clears with an easy header.
  • 40'
    Yellow Card Francesco Pisano
  • 38'
You have to wonder, is this game going the same way as Lecce on Wednesday? Juve have taken the lead early, and have since missed a few chances. Could it be one of those nights?
  • 36'
WOOOFFFF!!! Pinilla drives from the halfway line, and strikes it from 30 yards. Buffon is all ends up, but the shot just skims the outside of the left-hand post. That was very close.
  • 34'
Nainggolan is in deep water here. Vidal has the ball in the centre circle, and skips past the Belgian. He dives in, and concedes a free kick, having already received a booking. Conte and his players are not happy he's not receiving another one.
  • 32'
The corner is hit straight out to Pepe on the edge of the area, and the Italian international goes for a first time volley at goal. His body position is all wrong though, and the ball goes well over the bar.
  • 31'
Caceres comes bombing forward now for Juve. He plays a one-two with Vucinic on the edge of the area, and then tries to put in a low ball across the box. Ariaudo slids in though, and puts the ball behind for a corner.
  • 30'
Cagliari are enjoying a period of prolonged possession now. Nainggolan plays a one-two with Conti, and then tries to release Ibarbo in behind the Juve defence. Bonucci though, reads the ball, and dispossesses with ease.
  • 29'
Cagliari counter, and win a free kick 25 yards from the Juventus goal, after Pinilla gets fouled by Caceres. The ball is put in by Conti, but it's way too strong and goes right out for a goal kick.
  • 27'
Thye're playing with 10 men, but Juventus immediately win a corner. Pirlo whips it in from the left, but it's headed out at the front post by Conti.
  • 26'
    SubstitutionStephan Lichtsteiner M. Cáceres
  • 25'
The Swiss international is being stretchered off now, in a neck brace.
  • 24'
Replays are being shown here, and it's a double-whammy for Lichtsteiner: he clashes heads with Pinilla, and then hits the back of his head on the ground on the way down.
  • 23'
Pinilla's back on his feet, but Lichtsteiner is being put onto a strecther. This does not look good.
  • 22'
Canini plays a diagonal ball up to Pinilla, but as he goes up for a header, he clashes with Lichtsteiner. They both fall to the floor, and the paramedics come rushing on.
  • 21'
A HUGE ROAR rings around the ground, as news from San Siro feeds through! It's short-lived though, as a Lucio goal has apparently been ruled out. Here in Trieste, a Juventus corner is whipped in by Pirlo from the left, but the referee blows for a foul on Agazzi.
  • 19'
Bonucci has it now for Juventus at centre back. He plays the ball into the feet of Vucinic, but the Montenegrin's first touch is a poor one, and Astori sweeps up from behind him.
  • 18'
    Yellow Card Radja Nainggolan
  • 17'
And in other news: Diego Milito has scored for Inter. If the scores stay the same, Juventus have won the league.
  • 15'
Cagliari have it now, as Astori tries to play a long ball over the top for Thiago Ribeiro. The Brazilian chases after the pass, but is given offside.
  • 12'
Matri comes deep now to try and get the ball. He receives it from Vidal on the halfway line and tries to play a first time pass back to Bonucci. The pass though is way too strong, and Pinilla almost dispossesses. He can't quite get his foot to it though, and Buffon comes to collect.
  • 10'
The free kick is atrocious and the ball runs all the way into the arms of Gigi Buffon.
  • 9'
    Yellow Card Arturo Vidal
  • 9'
PIRLO GIVES THE BALL AWAY. The Italian was caught in possession in the centre circle by Ekdal, with the Swede trying to bring the ball upfield. Vidal though, has other ideas and catches him late, conceding a free kick.
  • 7'
Some truly shocking defending from Cagliari there, as they let the ball run all the way through to Vucinic without even a challenge.
  • 6'
    Assist Leonardo Bonucci
  • 6'
    Goal Mirko Vučinić
GOOOAAAALLLL!!! And against the run of play Mirko Vucinic has scored for Juventus! A through ball from Barzagli went all the way through to Vucinic, and he just slotted it under the onrushing Agazzi to make it 1-0.
  • 5'
It's been all Cagliari so far, as Ariaudo comes forward over the halfway line with the ball. He tries to knock the ball around the outside of Lichtsteiner, but the Swiss international shepherds the ball out of play for a throw in.
  • 3'
The set piece is played short, but Ibarbo is not on the same wavelength as Nainggolan and the ball runs away for a goal kick.
  • 3'
Nainggolan has it again for Cagliari, and bombs forward with the ball. He's eventually brought down by Lichtsteiner, with the referee giving a free kick.
  • 2'
And already Juventus have started pressing the Cagliari defenders. Nainggolan dropped deep to get the ball from Astori, and Marchisio chased him all the way, forcing the Belgian to pump it out for a throw in.
  • 1'
Here we go then. Cagliari will get us underway, kicking from right-to-left.
  • The players are just waiting to leave the tunnel, with kick off just moments away.
  • Just under 15 minutes to go until kick off here in Trieste, and the atmosphere here is, well, strange.
  • As always, I'm @alexjmott on Twitter, and I'd love to hear your comments on tonight's all-important Serie A Sunday.
  • Juventus (4-3-3): Buffon; Lichtsteiner, Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini; Vidal, Pirlo, Marchisio; Pepe, Matri, Vucinic.
  • Cagliari (4-3-3): Agazzi; Pisano, Canini, Astori, Ariaudo; Ekdal, Conti, Nainggolan; Ibarbo, Pinilla, Thiago Ribeiro.
  • Juventus meanwhile, are still the only unbeaten side in Europe's top five leagues. They have conceded the fewest amount of goals of any side away from home this season, with eight. And they're tied for third as the most prolific side away from home in Serie A.
  • Massimo Ficcadenti's side currently sit in 15th place, and are safely in mid-table. They are though, on a poor recent run, having won just one game in their last six. They're also having massive trouble netting this term: only 44 goals have been scored by Cagliari in 36 games.
  • It couldn't get much bigger than this in Italy. Juventus can't afford to drop any points against a Cagliari side that are on a dreadful recent run. Meantime, Scudetto challengers Milan face-off against Inter at San Siro. It's going to be an interesting night.
  • Good evening everyone, and welcome to's LIVE, play-by-play coverage, of Cagliari vs Juventus from Stadio Nereo Rocco in Trieste. I'm Alex Mott, and I'll be your commentator for tonight's crucial Serie A match.
