Player Ratings: Udinese 1-2 AC Milan

A very poor performance from a keeper who usually does much better. His poor parry lead to Milan's first goal and he was beaten at his near post for the second. Nervy and nearly dispossessed by El Shaarawy on another occasion.

Had a very good game, constantly bombing down his flank and not afraid to shoot on goal. His match ended early when Ambrosini fell on his leg, an event that forced him off in some pain.

Up until his side's late collapse, led his backline very well. Barked orders and organised his defence. Not at fault for the first goal but shares blame on Milan's second.

One of the most tireless players on the pitch. Full of running and always offered an outlet. Went down with an enormous scream under Mesbah's challenge with 20 minutes to go.

Made a good clearance early in the second half, and nearly scored himself when his toe poke forced a save out of Amelia. Like his defensive team-mates, played very well for 70 minutes but suffered for the last 20.

Kept Robinho under a leash for the entire match, giving him barely an inch. However, he simply could not do the same with Maxi Lopez, allowing Milan to come back from behind and win.

Epitomises this Udinese side with his boundless energy. Involved heavily in both attacking and defending, as he kept El Shaarawy from shooting in the 54th minute. Could have reacted quicker in a shooting position at 1-0.

One of the more invisible Udinese players on the night. Worked well to help his side keep shape and limit Milan's space, but not as influential as many of his team-mates.

Began the game superbly with his quick pass to send Di Natale past Mexes for the first goal, but faded in the rest of the match. More of his passing was needed up front and he simply didn't offer it.

Sent in a poor shot with just six minutes gone, but often ran back to defend whenever Milan had the ball. Another hard worker on a team full of them.

Who else? Opened the scoring with a fantastic finish after leaving Mexes behind. Made a great pass in the 21st minute as well, but was guilty of being lazy with the offside trap and found himself whistled more than he would've liked.

Could do little with the goal he conceded and made a number of superb stops, especially at the very end. Denied Armero and Floro Flores to keep his side with all three points.

A poor game from the new arrival, who suffered greatly with Udinese's pace. At fault for the first goal and struggled to stay in position.

One of the few players for Milan who matched the home side's tenacity. Always looked to feed his strikers and made a crucial interception from Armero on 66 minutes to keep his side in the game.

As usual, Milan's best defender on the night. Did well to contain the home side and faultless for the goal, which deflected in off his foot as he raced to cover where Mexes should have been.

An awful performance from the veteran. Poor passes, poor corners, a silly back-heel in the 60th minute that cost his side possession, and showed bad decision-making on the corner and subsequent cross on 66 minutes.

By no means a world beater but doesn't look out of place in this side, either. Made a great run back to prevent Armero from scoring in the 62nd minute.

Lively as ever but not as sharp as one would expect from a player who has scored so many this season. Should've knocked in an equaliser with a glancing header from eight yards out on 49 minutes.

Another veteran and another poor performer. Often overrun in the middle of the pitch and offered almost nothing creatively going forward.

Could not carve open Udinese at all, despite the occasional good cross. Made a good tackle in the 60th minute but Milan needed more from him offensively on the night.

A star in the making. So quiet for nearly the whole match but exploded into life with Maxi Lopez's introduction. His shot lead to the first goal and his cool finish gave Milan all three points.
