Had very little to do as the home side dominated. One punch from a Boerrigter cross was all that was required in the way of saves until late stop from Commons.
Had very little to do as Celtic barely threatened in attack. Blocked well from one Biton effort from distance in the first half.
Opened the scoring with a neat finish and could have had a second if not for an Ambrose block. Brought the ball out of defence well and supported the attackers before clearing late Samaras effort off the line.
Not quite as attacking as Montoya on the opposite flank but had his moments in the final third. Claimed assists for final two goals.
Was a constant threat getting forward on the right and laid on Neymar's first with a lovely pass across goal. Dani Alves wasn't missed as he also kept Samaras at bay on the Celtic left.
Got his name on the scoresheet with first half tap-in but was fairly quiet otherwise. Robbed Neymar of a fourth as he got in strikers way midway through second half.
Kept the ball well as his usual defensive break-up play wasn't required. Played the odd incisive pass before being replaced late on.
Picked up a booking in the first half and couldn't quite get into the game in an attacking sense. Still showed some nice touches on occasion.
Looked like he'd never been away with another display of superb passing. Early cross for Neymar set the tone and was perennially involved somewhere with almost all the goals.
Was Barcelona's brightest spark in the early moments as he played some lovely passes and inadvertently set up Pique goal with saved effort. Replaced in the second half.
Ran riot throughout and fully deserved his hat-trick. Could well have had more, with second goal the pick with placed finish from the edge of the box.
Could do nothing about any of the six goals as they generally flew past him from close range or via deflections. Made couple of good stops with his feet.
Started well with some good clearances but allowed Pedro to get across him too easily for second goal. Final two strikes came from his side too.
V. van Dijk
The standout player for the Bhoys as he made some crucial challenges and desperate blocks. Read the runs of the Barcelona front line fairly well.
Struggled throughout as poor clearance led to opening goal. Run ragged by Neymar as he looked totally out of his depth.
Struggled to deal with Sanchez and Montoya on return to the first team and unluckily picked up a booking for simulation in the second period. Replaced late on.
Struggled to get into the game and saw rasping drive blocked by Mascherano. Replaced in the second period.
Another poor display as he switched wings with little success. Weak shot when well placed summed up performance from the former Ajax man.
Gave the ball away far too often and in trying to stretch the game found himself isolated on the right-hand side. Needlessly booked in the first half.
Brought the ball forward well but misplaced too many passes. The best of the Celtic midifielders.
Anonymous for much of the opening 45 minutes as Celtic struggled to find him up front. Didn't set the world alight when he did get the ball and replaced at half-time.
Looked disinterested for much of the evening as he regularly lost the ball and miscontrolled. Did get himself on the scoresheet with header late on.
