Aizawl FC hampered Royal Wahingdoh FC's run in the second division, beating them 2-1. With the win, the Mizoram side are placed fourth with seven points from four matches, while The Royals remain third with nine points from five matches. Ennio Silva scored the only goal through a 61st minute free-kick for the Shillong team.

Green Valley Sports Club are at the bottom of the Group B standings after suffering their fourth defeat, losing 0-3 Josco FC.

Mohammedan Sporting Club, after their 5-0 win over Simla Youngs FC, have gathered 10 points from four matches to remain in contention to qualify for the next round of the competition. Bhawanipore FC currently top the group having beaten PIFA Sports 3-1.
