Dante speaking to Globo Esporte: "Playing against Messi was a dream of mine. And also a huge opportunity for me to test myself and see what level I'm really at."

Rishabh Ghai: Considering the Blaugrauna's record against German sides (W19 and L6) and also the fact that they havent lost a home game since 26 games (except Real's 3-1 win in the Copa del Rey), the game is in favour of Barcelona. However, i fancy a hard fought 2-1 victory for Bayern making it a formidable 6-1 on aggregate. This is because Bayern have got a better squad than their counterparts and their attack looks more formidable.

Whom do you see winning and why? Final prediction...

Ayush Srivastava: Well Barcelona will run out winners today, by a scoreline of 2-0, I think. But over the two legs, they have left themselves too much to do at the Nou Camp, and will crash out of the competition

OUR ANSWERED QUESTION: What do you make of Fabregas in false nine role. Will he succeed against Boateng and Van Buyten? Should they have started with Tello? (consider answered)

Rishabh Ghai: Fabregas has played the false nine role before so he is not alien to it. However, it is an ask for him to get past the two central Bayern defenders and I cannot see him succeeding against them. Tello would have given them amazing pace. He is decent with his finishing. However an inexperience youngster in the game of this magnitude coupled with the benching of Messi would have been a very big gamble. For me if Messi is fit enough to sit on bench he is fit enough to start

Surya Solanki: Frankly, no. Cesc has never impressed me as a False 9 because he's a simple playmaker. Tello would have been a better option with Villa as a striker. Barcelona have nothing to lose and Tito should have gone for something direct this time around.

BTW, another fan, aneeshsurender earlier said, "Greatness beckons tonight. A comeback for the ages (Barca) or one step closer to the treble (Bayern). Can't wait for kick-off."

Gremio's and former Bayern Zé Roberto quotes from newspaper Zero Hora:

"I think Barcelona will win 2-1, but of course it's just a guess. Barça is very strong at Camp Nou, where they have their supporters' backing. But I think the Germans' advantage it's a huge one. It will be a fine football match, I'll certainly watch it"

"[Bayern] is an organized and solidary squad. German teams always were recognized by their physical strenght, but this Bayern and Borussia Dortmund have also speed and technique. [Bayern's strenght] relies on the whole, their defense is solid and they have a deadly counterattack. I'm not afraid to say that, for me, they are an almost complete team"

If Bayern deserves the final:

"Of course, they are a great football team. Last season they reached far in all three competitions, and now they've won the Bundesliga, are set for the Pokal final and may lift the Champions League."

Rishabh Ghai: The game has had a forgone conclusion because to the first leg. However, I can imagine Barcelona giving it their all. So the game truly depends on the Bayern defence and how well they line up again tonight. If they do well and stop Barca going forward then they will stop Barcelona from doing any kind of critical damage.

Surya Solanki: As I said the last time, the result will depend on the performance of Barcleona's defence. This time, maybe Fabregas' performance will also be crucial but the backline will have to make sure that they shut out the Bayern attackers. If they put in a same performance as last time, Bayern will sweep away Barcelona.

Ayush Srivastava: Without Dante, i think the focus shall now be on Bayern's defense. They will definitely look to hold on to their advantage today and the game will be decided with how they cope versus Barcelona, who will come out all guns blazing

Another STAT to add: Messi has scored 44% of Barca's goals in the Champions League this season.

In which area shall the game be determined?

Goal.com's Pilar Suárez had contacted us from Barcelona a while ago. This is what he said then

"
Here in Barcelona we can breath the Champions! At 'les rambles' I found some bayern's fans and I spoke with some. They believe the result will be 2-2 and the MVP's will be Schweinsteiger and Iniesta, not Messi."

Rishabh Ghai: Alex Song's primary role at Arsenal was to break the play. In Barcelona the additional role for him is that he needs to keep the flow of passing going. Song's natural style of play has held him back to fit into this system and he might face trouble again today. It is an opportunity for him to show what he can do but against the likes of Martinez and Schweinsteiger, he might just struggle.
