We've all left Christmas/birthday/anniversary (delete as appropriate) shopping until the last minute at one time or another, and it's no different for Premier League clubs. As their fans get tetchy, now the real fun begins - so take a look at our slideshow on the deals that the top sides still need to make to avoid half a season of apologies. AGGER MOVE?

Brondby have confirmed they are in negotiations with Liverpool over a deal for Daniel Agger.

A statement from Brondby CEO Jesper Jorgensen said: "Brondby can confirm that there is dialogue with Liverpool FC and Daniel Agger about a move to Brondby. If the club manage to sign Daniel Agger during the next few days, the financial effect of the profit will be limited."

Good morning football fans, and welcome to another edition of our Transfer Window LIVE blog! I'm Tom J Doyle, and there's just three shopping days left before the window slams shut on Monday at 23:00 BST, so expect to see clubs getting a little more nervy over the coming days. Will Manchester United add any defensive reinforcements to their glittering front line - or will Arsenal, for that matter? We'll find out in due course...

DONE DEAL - MCCARTHY JOINS QPR

It's the one, the only... Alex McCarthy! The 24-year-old goalkeeper has joined QPR from Reading. Fair play. Was it worth delaying party time for? No. But there you have it...

QPR ANNOUNCEMENT

Right, QPR, we've had a long, hard day and it's Friday. Friday means it's party time. And you're delaying party time by announcing a transfer right as we're due to head off. If this is another Premier League fringe player coming in and getting loaned out straight away, we're not gonna be happy. We're waiting, so this better be good...

SWANSEA SET BONY PRICE?

The Daily Express claims Swansea could still sell Wilfried Bony before the close of the transfer window... but only if a club pays £24 million for him. The striker scored 25 goals in his first season with the club and was linked with Liverpool and Tottenham earlier in the summer. Check out that and all of today's rumours in Transfer Talk.

DONE DEAL - CHELSEA YOUNGSTER SIGNS NEW CONTRACT

Nineteen-year-old midfielder Lewis Baker has agreed a new five-year deal with Chelsea. He's only made one first-team appearance for the club - as a late substitute in the FA Cup against Derby last season - but has experience with England at Under-17 and Under-19 level.

REMY TO CHELSEA?

Loic Remy was hot property earlier in the summer but it seems his failed Liverpool medical put off potential suitors. However, with Fernando Torres set to depart and Mattia Destro seemingly staying at Roma, the Daily Star reports that Chelsea are ready to reignite their interest and make a late move for the QPR striker.

WELBECK IN, SOLDADO OUT?

According to the Daily Express, Tottenham will allow Roberto Soldado to join Juventus on loan once they complete the signing of Danny Welbeck from Manchester United. Welbeck is expected to sign for Spurs on loan before Monday's deadline, while Soldado has been linked with an exit all summer after a miserable season in front of goal last year (but he's great at penalties!).

VIDAL RECAP

Every other tweet to the @GoalUK account is asking for Arturo Vidal news. Well, I'm afraid, Manchester United fans, it doesn't look good. The club are pursuing a deal for the midfielder in the final few days of the transfer window but the player himself tweeted earlier today that he is "100% ready" for the start of the Serie A season with Juventus.

GUARDIOLA HAILS ALONSO ARRIVAL

So many big clubs around Europe have tried - and failed - to bring in new central midfielders this summer. Then, out of the blue, Bayern Munich snap up Xabi Alonso for €10 million (£8m). Bargain? Pep Guardiola thinks so. "Alonso is very experienced," the Bayern coach said. "He has seen everything. He is a model professional and will help us. He is a great catch."

DONE DEAL - SWANSEA SIGN GALLIFUOCO

The done deals keep on-a-coming as Swansea complete the signing of Australian midfielder Giancarlo Gallifuoco on a one-year contract. The 20-year-old was a free agent after leaving Tottenham and joins up with the club's Under-21 squad. Is it just me or is that shirt five sizes too small for him?

KARANKA REACTION

The Middlesbrough manager told the club’s official website: "Everyone knows that Patrick is a very good player with a bright future in the game. He scored a lot of goals during his previous loan spells and will be a good addition to our squad. I first enquired about trying to bring Patrick to Middlesbrough last December so I am delighted that everything has now been agreed. I’m looking forward to working with him."

DONE DEAL - BORO SIGN BAMFORD FROM CHELSEA

Middlesbrough have completed the signing of striker Patrick Bamford on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea. The 20-year-old was prolific in the Football League last season, scoring 25 goals in loan spells at MK Dons and Derby, and joins up with the Championship club after Jose Mourinho told him he would be best suited working under Boro boss Aitor Karanka - his former assistant at Real Madrid.
