‘Soon he will be gone to Real Madrid’ - Egypt legend Mido predicts Mohamed Salah’s future

Following his record breaking goals on Saturday, the former Ajax forward declared that the Egypt international will not stay for long at Anfield

Egypt legend Ahmed Hossam ‘Mido’ has stated that Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah will soon join La Liga giants Real Madrid with his impressive start to the 2017-18 season.

Salah who joined the Reds for a club record fee in June became the all-time Egyptian topscorer in Europe with 79 goals after breaking Mido’s record of 78 goals in Liverpool's 3-0 victory over Southampton.

And the former Marseille and Tottenham Hotspur attacker took to social media to congratulate the 25-year-old’s record breaking feat.

“Congratulations to @22mosalah on becoming the most Egyptian to Score goals in Europe and still got plenty to come!! Remember when the Liverpool fans made fun of me when I said 3 years ago that Salah is 10 times better than Sterling.. Well now they know I was right !!keep going son!!," Mido tweeted.

With 14 goals in just 18 appearances across all competitions for Jurgen Klopp's men this campaign, Mido believes that the left-footed forward will not stay at the Merseyside club for long and backed him to join Uefa Champions League reigning champions, Real Madrid.
