Robbie Keane has confirmed that a number of Championship clubs are interested in securing his services and hinted that his future will be decided in "the next couple of weeks".

A League sides Western Sydney Wanderers and Brisbane Roar were interested in Keane, while Preston North End are the latest club to be linked with the former Republic of Ireland international. The 36-year-old's former clubs Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leeds have also been linked.

"(Watch) this space, the next couple of weeks and we will see what happens," Keane said, speaking to TalkSPORT.

"I have had a couple of offers in England and abroad. I have had to knock back a couple because it was too far away."

"I have got a few offers on the table. I have had a lot of people asking are you coming back to Leeds, Wolves etc. But you can’t go somewhere where there is not an offer.
