Pattaya United  0-3  SCG Muangthong United

SCG Muangthong United on Wednesday night recorded a comfortable victory to extend their winning streak in Toyota Thai League to 14 matches so far.

The emphatic scoreline flatters the defending champions slightly, but there's no doubt that this performance was another impressive one from Muangthong United.

Adisak Kraisorn converted a penalty kick inside 11 minutes to make it 1-0 on the stroke of half-time and Muangthong maintained their supremacy after the break.

Teerasil Dangda doubled the lead by brilliantly scoring his 99th goal in the Thai League, before a late Mongkol Tossakrai strike confirmed the three points that secured Muangthong the top spot, while Pattaya United remain 15th.

Buriram United  4-0  Nakhonratchasima Mazda FC

Toyota Thai League giants Buriram United claimed the impressive result, winning 4-0 over 10-man Nakhonratchasima Mazda FC in the “Isaan” derby match at I-Mobile Stadium.

The Thunder Castle constantly caused problems for Nakhonratchasima’ back line, as they solid at both ends of the pitch and were particularly impressive in front of goal.

Jakson Avelino Coelho, or simply Jaja,  gave the hosts the 18th minute lead, before Supachok Sarachat shortly added the second goal just one minute later. Ranko Popovic’s roster continued wrecking the visitors’ game as Jaja trebled the lead to take a huge advantage for Buriram at the break.

Nakhonratchasima gave their best to come back to the game, but were forced to play less players when Chalerm Kerdkaew was sent off after receiving his second yellow card in the 77th minute.

With 10-man down, Nakhonratchasima eventually defeated after Diogo Luis Santo converted penalty kick and hammered the visitors in 89 minutes.

Buriram United are now at the 2nd place, two points behind Muangthong United, while Nakhonratchasima stand at the 11th place of the table.
