With five more games to go in the season, Mohun Bagan (21) are not completely out of the title race. The fact that title contenders Minerva Punjab (29) and East Bengal (23) face each other soon boosts Bagan's hopes of a late push for the title.
Akram Moghrabi has been in the spotlight for his missed penalty in the 0-0 draw against Chennai City on Wednesday. The Lebanese striker has however developed a good understanding with Aser Dipanda in the attack. New signing Bimal Magar might get a chance in the starting lineup as Yuta Kinowaki is doubtful for the game.
Kinshuk Debnath is declared fit and is likely to be preferred over Rana Gharami, who too has put in a good shift in the former's absence. It's going to be pretty much a full-strength squad capable of dealing with the southerners.
Gokulam Kerala FC are currently languishing at the bottom of the table with 10 points but have played the least number of games (12) among all teams. They are however immune to relegation as they are a direct corporate entry into the I-League this season.
Bino George's side has recently registered wins over Chennai City (1-0) and Shillong Lajong (3-0) before losing their last game by a solitary goal against NEROCA FC. Gokulam Kerala's only win prior to that was against Indian Arrows earlier in the season and that was before January signings made an impact.
The Kozhikode-based team will look to take their goalscoring count to double figures on Sunday with Mahmood Alajmi in good form of late. Expect Henry Kisseka and Zivi Zhimomi to battle for a place in the first 11 while Santu Singh's inclusion might allow Mohammed Irshad to play in midfield.
Will Mohun Bagan keep their title hopes alive with a win or are Gokulam Kerala capable of churning out an upset?
