The Ivorian is due to become a free agent in the summer and has several options to consider as he waits to discover Pep Guardiola's plans for him

Yaya Toure has several “very interesting offers” to consider as his Manchester City contract runs down, says his agent Dimitri Seluk.

The Ivorian midfielder is due to become a free agent at the end of the season, with City yet to table fresh terms.

Toure has impressed since being welcomed back in from the cold by Pep Guardiola, with his ability to produce talismanic performances not diminishing at 34 years of age.

'City no longer noisy neighbours'

City’s delay in discussing a new deal has led to mounting interest being shown in the two-time Premier League champion, with Seluk suggesting that a number of approaches have already been made.

He told Sky Sports: “We have not heard anything [from City].

"I read a lot of stories about a new City contract but I know nothing about this. The last time I spoke to anyone at City was in Monaco in March.

"We have many possibilities. Yaya already has offers from different clubs. They are very interesting offers.

"There are clubs who have already qualified for next season's Champions League, but for Yaya, Manchester City is a very special club. He has given his heart to the club and he would find it difficult to leave City."

'Strong chance' Toure will get new deal

Seluk added: "At the moment Yaya is just concentrating on getting City into the Champions League. That is his only focus. At the end of his contract, we will look at the offers he has.

"He wants to play in the Champions League next season but he would also play for an ambitious club who have big plans - a club who have a project."

Toure has netted six times in 27 appearances this season, with his season sparked into life by a two-goal showing against Crystal Palace in mid-November.
