|To make the England 2014 World Cup squad
|Odds from BetVictor
BetVictor believe the 22-year-old is one of the more likely contenders to make the squad, pricing him at just 2/5 (1.40) to be named in the final squad, alongside Frank Lampard who is also a 2/5 (1.40) chance with the same firm.
Chris Smalling deputised at right back against Poland and his ability to play there as well as centre back means the Manchester United man is 11/10 (2.10) to be named in the 23-man squad next summer.
Despite not making a senior England appearance as of yet, Everton's Ross Barkley has announced himself on the Premier League stage and is 6/4 (2.50) to travel to Brazil next summer. Ravel Morrison has also impressed domestically and is a 4/1 (5.0) chance to be one of the chosen 23.
Question marks have been raised over the form of Joe Hart but Hodgson has showed plenty of faith in the Manchester City 'keeper so the best option may be in backing which other goalkeepers could be taken to Brazil.
The options include Celtic's Fraser Forster (10/11), Ben Foster (11/10) and John Ruddy (5/4).
Stoke goalkeeper Jack Butland may have cemented a place in the England Under 21 set up but the 20-year-old former Birmingham man is now out to 7/1 (8.0) to make the senior squad for the World Cup having been loaned out to Championship club Barnsley.
BetVictor have also priced up which left back they believe will start in England's first World Cup game with Leighton Baines the 4/6 (1.67) favoruite after two solid performances in Ashley Cole's absence.
The Chelsea man is available at 11/10 (2.10) to start ahead of Baines in the first group match with any other player available at 16/1 (17.0).
