Sevilla-Celta Vigo Betting Preview: Why over 2.5 goals is the best bet for this evening

Sevilla-Celta Vigo Betting Preview: Why over 2.5 goals is the best bet for this evening

Latest Betting Special: Who will be coaching Real Madrid next season? Previous Next Aston Villa-Manchester City Betting Preview: Expect Yaya Toure to lead the way in high-scoring encounter

With Sevilla in fine scoring form, and Celta having a poor away record, our Spanish expert can see at least three goals being scored tonight

There are few similarities between the cities of Vigo and Seville. The former is a wet, wind-swept, industrial port in the north of the country and the latter is the sultry, seductive jewel in southern Spain's not inconsiderable touristic crown.

The football teams of the respective cities however do share a common theme in that both are capable of playing some attractive stuff, while both have underachieved relatively speaking this season.

Indeed for Celta things are getting increasingly serious with the Galicians in the relegation zone and in need of a desperate revival of fortunes away from home where they have lost 11 of their 13 matches this season.

Coral price a victory for the visitors tonight at 6/1 (7.00) while Sevilla who have been strong at the Sanchez Pizjuan (unbeaten there in their last five matches) can be backed at 1/2 (1.50).

Strictly speaking, this should be a home win, with Sevilla resolute enough under Unai Emery to get the job done against their beleaguered opponents.

Backing Sevilla to score two goals or more in their recent home games has proved a successful strategy having paid out in each of their last five matches but at 4/7 (1.57) it looks a little short.

Instead backing over 2.5 goals in the game at 8/11 (1.73) looks a lot more attractive with each
one of Sevilla last eight matches in all competitions seeing at least three goals scored.

For a value bet back Sevilla to score three or more goals at 2/1 (3.00) a selection which has paid out in three of their last five home games.
