Martin Jol's men have scored seven goals without reply in two pre-season matches thus far. Willie Duncan is backing the Cottagers to notch another win against Karl Robinson's menMartin Jol’s Fulham will be hoping to maintain their good pre-season form when they make the trip to Stadium MK to face Karl Robinson’s Milton Keynes Dons on Tuesday night.
The Premier League club have won both of the friendlies that they have played thus far, beating Wycombe Wanderers 3-0 and Nice 4-0, and the Londoners are chalked up as 4/6 (1.67) favourites with Bet365 to make it a hat-trick with victory on Tuesday.
The League One side, though, will have been buoyed by holding Norwich City to an impressive 0-0 draw at the weekend and Robinson’s men are rated as a 16/5 (4.20) chances with Bet365 to get the better of Jol’s men when the sides meet while the same firm 13/5 (3.60) that the match ends in stalemate.
Given Fulham’s impressive form in front of goal, it comes as little surprise that Bet365 go 3/5 (1.60) on three or more goals being scored here.
However, the stuffy nature of the Dons’ display against Norwich City combined with Fulham’s own defensive doggedness points to a low scoring clash here.
Subsequently, the 13/10 (2.30) quote from Bet365 for two or fewer goals to be scored on Tuesday night might represent the value selection and is certainly worthy of scrutiny from punters.
Another price which looks to represent good value is Bet365’s 15/4 (4.75) for the match to be level at half-time with Fulham winning the second half.
That particular bet is particularly appealing should MK Dons frustrate the men from Craven Cottage with the assumption that the Premier League club’s superior fitness may well tell in the end.
Should that scenario pan out, the 17/2 (9.50) quote from Bet365 for the Cottagers to win 1-0 is sure to attract interest while the same firm offer up the same price that the visitors return to London with a 2-0 victory.
Fulham should be good enough to secure a third successive victory here and the 4/6 (1.67) for Martin Jol’s men should be taken here and the west London club certainly have enough firepower to ensure a comfortable win so 2-0 at 17/2 (9.50) is the value play here.
