SSE Airtricity Premier Division side Shamrock Rovers welcome Liverpool to Dublin for a friendly at the Aviva Stadium, with over 40,000 supporters expected to come out to watch the English Premier League runners-up.
Many of Liverpool's bigger names will not be involved due to World Cup commitments, but Joe Allen, Martin Skrtel, and Daniel Agger should all take to the field after playing in the Reds' final Premier League game on Sunday.
After missing out on Brazil's preliminary World Cup squad, Philip Coutinho is expected to line out, but Jon Flanagan may not feature after being named on England's standby list.
Shamrock Rovers will be without Conor Kenna, who picked up an injury in training, but the defender admits that the Hoops are looking forward to the challenge of facing the Premier League giants.
"We will take the game seriously as fans would have paid a lot of money to see the game. We are going to go out and give it a good show," Kenna said.
"Liverpool had good quality of players who aren't even going to the World Cup. Their squad is decent enough, to be fair, you have to have a strong side to finish second in the Premier League.
"To get away from the league for a game is brilliant. We are all looking forward to facing Liverpool."
