The 21-year-old defender moves to the Showgrounds from his local side, having helped the Leesiders back to the Airtricity Premier Division in his first full season at the club. He will compete with Jeff Henderson, Evan McMillan, and Gavin Peers for a starting spot at Sligo.
Meanwhile, Joseph Ndo has extended his career with Rovers. "My ambition is to help the club to be the best in Ireland and help the club compete in Europe every year," Ndo told the club's official website.
"It's going to be about how we approach the next season. It isn't about being talented. You can be as talented as you want. If the approach is not right, the results will not follow.
"It is all about the approach and the goal we set when the pre season starts. It all starts there. Always the goal should be to achieve something that you feel is untouchable. For us, the group stage of Europe and competing is untouchable.
"That is what you have to work for, you have do more than you think you are capable of. If you want something you have never had, you have to be willing to do something you have never done."
