St Patrick's Athletic boss Liam Buckley has urged his team to "seize the moment" when they host Dundalk in a top-of-the-table clash at Richmond Park on Friday night.
The Saints are level on points with the Lilywhites at the summit of the Airtricity Premier Division and, with six games left to play in the league, the outcome of the match could prove pivotal in deciding where the league title ends up at the end of the season.
Doubts remain over the fitness of Killian Brennan and Shane McFaul, while Greg Bolger is out of the tie through suspension, but Buckley believes his players will be suitably motivated.
"If you're not hyped up for a game like this, playing a team joint top of the table and just six games to go, you should just go buy yourself a snooker cue or a tennis racket," Buckley told the club's official website ahead of the game.
St Pat's have yet to defeat Dundalk in the league this season, losing out twice, most recently in a 2-1 defeat at Oriel Park in June. However, Buckley has urged his players to step up their performances for the final fixtures.
"It means so much to the club, our supporters, sponsors, everyone associated with St Pat's," he added.
"From the dressing room perspective, we've worked hard all year to get into this position so we just need to seize the moment and carry things on for the remaining games."
St Patrick's Athletic take on Dundalk in the Airtricity Premier Division on Friday September 20. Kick off 19:45 BST.
