Derby County midfielder Jeff Hendrick is aiming to "bounce back" from last weekend's 1-0 defeat against Leicester City with a win against Yeovil Town on Saturday.
The Rams currently find themselves in 12th place in the Championship having picked up four points from their opening three league games. Despite the narrow loss against Leicester, Hendrick insists that the team has not let it affect their morale and says that they are determined to improve.
"We were disappointed to lose against Leicester but we played well and were unlucky not to come away with a point, at least," he told the club's official website.
"Given the circumstances it would have been easy for a few heads to drop this week, but that's not been the case and we know what we're capable of."
The Republic of Ireland international, who has been a regular for Nigel Clough's side over the past few seasons, explained that it is important for players not to let single results affect their mentality in such a "tight division" as England's second-tier.
"The Championship is such a tight division and we know we're not going to win every game and that everyone in the league loses games, over the course of the season," he continued.
"I think in this division you can't get carried away with winning and you can't get too down with losing. We just have to make sure losing doesn't happen to us this season and that we bounce back at Yeovil, which won't be an easy game down there.
"They got promoted last season and did extremely well and it's new and exciting for them being in the Championship.
"We know they'll be up for the game and determined to give their fans their first win at home in the league."
Meanwhile, Conference Premier side Forest Green Rovers have completed the signing of Irish goalkeeper Paul White.
The 18-year-old shot-stopper is a Republic of Ireland youth international and joins the Green from Airtricity Premier Division side Cork City.
