The former England international will take charge of the Red Devils for their friendly match at the Regional Sports Centre on Thursday
The 38-year-old was a fan favourite at Old Trafford, playing 387 games for the Red Devils from 1992 to 2004, and is now a coach with the Manchester United reserve team. A six-time Premier League winner, Butt also played for Newcastle United, Birmingham City, and South China, before returning to United as a coach.
Republic of Ireland under-19 interational Sam Byrne could be set to play for the Red Devils, having been included in the travelling party for Thursday's game. The forward scored seven goals in 14 games for the United Academy team last season, and is well-regarded at the Premier League club.
