Tottenham target David Villa has described Robbie Keane as a "great goalscorer" and included the 59-goal Ireland international in his list of great strikers.
Speaking to Spanish daily newspaper Marca, Spain's record goal-scorer gave his views on several of his fellow forwards, including Miroslav Klose, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Didier Drogba, as well as Irish forward Keane.
The former Liverpool, Inter and Tottenham striker is currently plying his trade in MLS with LA Galaxy and Villa was keen to acknowledge the "special instinct" of Ireland's record goal-scorer.
"He is very intelligent," he said of the Ireland captain. "He's a great goalscorer and he has a special instinct for losing his marker."
Villa grouped Keane in a pantheon of strikers, including "old school" Miroslav Klose, "physical powerhouse" Didier Drogba and "artist" Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
"[Ibrahimovic is] an artist," he said. "Zlatan is pure technique. He is also powerful thanks to his physique."
The 31-year-old striker, who is close to sealing a move to Tottenham Hotspur, also reserved praised for Arsenal attacker Lukas Podolski and Manchester United duo Robin Van Persie and Wayne Rooney.
He described Rooney as a "fantastic team player" while Robin Van Persie, he said, was "very complete and aggressive - he fights for everything. Quality finisher."
Villa also praised the "sheer power" of Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo, and also hailed his Barcelona team mate Lionel Messi, who he feels is "everything in one".
"Leo is everything in one," he said of the Argentine. "He does everything and does everything well."
