thumbnail Hello,

Two goals from Trevor Molloy saw the Leinster Senior Cup side defeat their First Division opponents 3-2, while St Pat's and Shelbourne advanced to the Leinster Senior Cup semis

Athlone Town 2-3 Bluebell United
Amateur side Bluebell United advanced to the Third Round of the FAI Cup with an extra-time victory over First Division club Athlone Town, after Saturday's game between the sides ended in a 2-2 draw.

Ian Sweeney was on target in the original match, and opened the scoring once again on 35th minutes. Trevor Molloy equalised for the Leinster Senior League side before half-time, and then gave the visitors the lead in the 57 minute.

Town central midfielder Tzee Mustapha equalised to send the game to extra-time, but Bluebell bagged another in the 101st minute through Peter Darcy to cause an upset.

Shelbourne 2-1 UCD
Shelbourne needed just 90 minutes to reach the semi-finals of the Leinster Senior Cup, recording a narrow win over Dublin rivals UCD.

The hosts took the lead after half an hour when Mark Leech headed in from a corner. However, their lead didn't last long as Colm Crowe equalised four minutes later.

Shels were the better side in the second-half, and scored a deserved winner 10 minutes from time as Dean Kelly beat Mark McGinley. The Students tried to find a way back into the game, but the hosts held tight.
St Patrick's Athletic 2-0 Longford Town
Two goals in extra-time saw Liam Buckley's side advance to the last four of the Leinster Senior Cup.

First Division side Longford Town did well in normal time against a young Saints side and troubled goalkeeper Dave Ryan on a number of occasions.

However, Pat's fitness shone through in extra-time as their experienced players led them to victory. Sean Gannon crossed for Anto Flood's opener before Conan Byrne finished from Jordan Keegan's cross.
