|St Patrick's CY 3-4 Cobh Ramblers
|Cobh Ramblers had to fight off a late fightback from Leinster Senior League side St Patrick's CY to advance to the Third Round of the FAI Cup.
The visitors took a third minute lead through Brian Fitzgerald's header, and then doubled their lead eight minutes later when Conor Meade's free-kick went past CY keeper Stephen Murphy.
Cobh extended their advantage just after half-time when Meade added his second from the spot, before Bobby Donoghue bagged Cobh's fourth in the 55th minute. St Patrick's CY failed to give up, and got back into the game just after the hour mark through Thomas Dunne.
The hosts scored again on 90 minutes with Brian Mooney curling the ball past Robert Birdsall, and saw Dunne get his second in the fifth minute of stoppage time, but could not add another as time ran out at Frank Cooke Park.
|Glenville 0-3 Limerick
|Two goals from Rory Gaffney helped Premier Division side Limerick advance to the last 16 with a comfortable win over Leinster Senior League side Glenville at Whitehall
Rory Gaffney opened the scoring for the visitors on 22 minutes, who fielded a strong starting XI against their non-league opponents. Limerick were much the better side for the majority of the first-half, but didn't double their lead until the second, with Gaffney being put through by Axel Bossekota.
A Stephen Bradley free-kick sealed the tie for the Shannonsiders, who were good value for the win as they emphasised their greater class.a
