The Shamrock Rovers midfielder is anticipating a close cup Setanta Sports Cup final as he faces his former club at Tallaght Stadium

Shamrock Rovers midfielder James Chambers insists that there will be no sentiment when his team face the Drogheda United in the final of the Setanta Sports Cup at Tallaght Stadium on Saturday, May 11.
Chambers is anticipating a tough encounter, following last September's EA Sports Cup Final meeting between the two sides, which the Boynesiders won 3-1.
"It's a cup final at the end of the day and whoever you're coming up against, you're looking forward to it," Chambers told Goal.com. "Drogheda won the [EA Sports] cup here last year, so they'll be confident and have the upper hand.
"We have to set our stall out and prepare for that and we'll see how it goes on Saturday. That said, I don't think there'll be a psychological edge, everything goes out the window in a cup final. They're hard to call and it just depends sometimes on who gets the 'rub of the green' on the day."
The 2011 champions have struggled to match that form this season, and Chambers believes that the standard of their performances hasn't always been reflected in the eventual scoreline. "We've played well in games and haven't gotten what we deserved," he added. "And in other games, we haven’t played well and did get what we deserved.
"We played well against UCD but the result wasn't what the performance merited. But that’s football, there’s times when we should have turned the screw.
"Hopefully our last win [against Dundalk] will give us some confidence but we know we're in for a tough game on Saturday."
Shamrock Rovers take on Drogheda United at Tallaght Stadium in the Setanta Sports Cup final on Saturday, May 11. Kick off 15:00 BST.
