The Hammers will visit Turners Cross for a friendly fixture as part of their pre-season campaign

Cork City have announced a summer friendly with English Premier League club West Ham United to take place at Turners Cross on Sunday 7th July.

The Hammers, who are currently sitting in 10th place in the Premier League table with face the Leesiders as part of their pre-season campaign. The friendly will see West Ham manager Sam Allardyce return to Ireland, having began his managerial career at the helm of Limerick before taking the Preston North End job in 1992.

Tommy Dunne's side faced Watford and a Manchester United XI at Turners Cross last year, and Cork City will be looking to prove themselves a match for their English opponents in July.

Tickets will be priced at €15 for Adults, €10 for Juveniles and €5 for Under 13s/Senior Citizens. Discounted prices of €13 for Adults and €8 for Juveniles will be available to season ticket holders, FORAS Trustees and CityCard members until Friday, May 24th.
