Ireland under 21s drawn with Germany and Romania in 2015 Uefa European under 21 qualifying group
Noel King's side have been drawn with Germany in the qualifying group for the 2015 Uefa European under 21 Championship which is to be held in the Czech Republic
Noel King's Republic of Ireland under 21 side have been drawn in Group Six against Germany in the 2015 Uefa European Under 21 Championship qualifying group stage.The draw, which took place in Nyon, Switzerland on Thursday January 31, sees the Young Boys in Green face off against 2009 champions Germany, as well as Romania, Montenegro and the Faroe Islands.
Elsewhere, Northern Ireland under-21s were drawn in Group Nine, along with Italy, Serbia, Belgium and Cyprus, while 2011 champions Spain, have been drawn against Austria, Hungary, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Albania.
Stuart Pearce's England have been drawn in Group One against Wales, Finland, Moldova, Lithuania and San Marino, while tournament hosts, Czech Republic receive automatic qualification.
The opening fixtures of the qualifying round are set to take place on March 22, 2013.
