La Liga side to promote the involvement of non-Spaniards in Spanish football by dedicating fixture to the people of Ireland

Primera Division side Sevilla will dedicate their upcoming match against Granada to Ireland, the Irish Embassy in Spain has confirmed.

The match, which will take place at Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan on Monday January 28, will be used to promote the participation of non-Spaniards in the culture of La Liga.

Irish citizens will be able to avail of a special offer on tickets which sees prices sold at the reduced price of €5 and the Irish flag will be flown over the stadium during the game.

There will be an exhibition at half time from Gaelic football club Eire Og Sevilla GAA club, while the occasion will also have Irish music from the traditional folk band Rarefolk.

Sevilla are currently in 12th position in the Primera Division, with 23 points accrued from 20 games.
