Giovanni Trapattoni has announced his Republic of Ireland squad for the upcoming friendly against Poland on February 6.
Among those included are uncapped Derby County trio Jeff Hendrick, Richard Keogh and Conor Sammon, while Norwich City winger Anthony Pilkington is also set to pick up his first cap.
Trapattoni has re-called Bristol City left back Greg Cunningham, while on loan Ipswich Town goalkeeper Stephen Henderson has also been included.
Aston Villa defender Richard Dunne has also been placed on stand by for the fixture and his progress will be monitored prior to the game in February.
In a statement, the Boys in Green coach said that he has opted to give senior players such as Robbie Keane and Stephen Kelly a 'break' in order to work with younger players.
"I have decided to use this friendly game as an opportunity to work with younger players to see their potential. As a result, I have given senior players like Robbie Keane and Stephen Kelly a break for this fixture.
"We saw a number of strong performances from our younger players in the second half of last year and we intend to build from those strong foundations, using this friendly match to introduce more new talent like [Anthony] Pilkington, [Jeff] Hendrick, [Conor] Sammon and [Richard] Keogh.
"I look forward to working with these players, and seeing what they have to offer," concluded Trapattoni.
The Republic of Ireland will face Poland at the Aviva Stadium on Wednesday February 6.
