The Republic of Ireland international has agreed a new contract with the Toffees that will extend his stay at Goodison Park until 2018
The new deal will see the 24-year-old Republic of Ireland international remain at Goodison Park until 2018.
Speaking to evertontv, Coleman revealed his delight at signing a new contract with the Toffees, noting that he wanted to stay with the club 'for as long as possible'.
"I'm over the moon," said the former Sligo Rovers defender. "I'm glad to get it all done and to sign for so long at a club like Everton is a great achievement - I want to be here for as long as possible.
"Signing a contract here is fantastic and I'm really looking forward to the next couple of years," he added.
Coleman joined Everton in 2009 from Airtricity Premier Division side Sligo Rovers and has since made over 80 appearances for David Moyes' side.
