Following on from the news that the Boys in Green would face their English counterparts at Wembley in May comes the announcement that Greece and Poland will visit Dublin
The FAI has confirmed that the Republic of Ireland will face Greece on November 14 and Poland on February 6, 2013 in international friendly matches at Dublin's Aviva Stadium.

The news comes hot on the heels of confirmation that the Boys in Green will face England in riciprocal friendlies at Wembley on May 29, 2013 and the Aviva in November 2014.

Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni said: "These matches provide me with a very important opportunity to work with the squad and test ourselves against strong European opposition in preparation for the pivotal World Cup Qualification double header against Sweden and Austria in March 2013."
