Shamrock Rovers have secured the signature of Ciarán Kilduff for a further two seasons after the striker agreed to sign a contract extension keeping him at the club until 2014.
The 23-year-old forward, whose contract was due to expire at the end of the current season, said that he was 'delighted' with the development.
Speaking to shamrockrovers.ie, Kilduff said: “I’m really delighted to be extending my time at Shamrock Rovers by at least another two years.
"This was a very easy decision for me to make; besides my time at UCD, I’ve been a Shamrock Rovers player since I was 16, and I am very happy to be staying.
“Having missed so much of the season, I feel I’m trying to make up for lost time at the moment. But I really want to push on now and do as well as I can for the club.”
