Drogheda United sign former Celtic midfielder Eric Foley
Mick Cooke has added yet another former Monaghan United player to his ranks at Hunky Dorys Park
Drogheda United have signed former Monaghan United midfielder Eric Foley ahead of the 2012 Airtricity Premier Division season.
The 22-year-old spent three years at SPL outfit Celtic before returning home with Sporting Fingal in 2009.
Last season he featured 33 times for Monaghan United in their promotion campaign after signing from Shelbourne.
Foley follows Gabriel Sava, Shane Grimes, Sean Brennan, Ryan Brennan and Declan ‘Fabio’ O’Brien in joining Drogheda from Monaghan during the off-season.
