Setanta Sports Cup results: Glentoran, Derry City, Bohemians & Cliftonville march on to last eight

Two IFA Premiership sides and two Airtricity Premier Division representatives go forth to the quarter-finals after Monday night's action

Glentoran 3-0 Bray Wanderers

Glentoran eased into the last eight thanks to a 7-2 aggregate win over Bray Wanderers.

Darren Boyce
netted twice for the IFA Premiership side as they take their place alongside Sligo Rovers in the quarter-finals.

Boyce opened the scoring and Colin Nixon doubled the lead before half time.

Boyce secured the result with a second-half penalty at the Oval.
Derry City 3-0 Lisburn Distellery

Derry City will face IFA Premiership champions Linfield in the quarter-finals after hamming Distellery, 7-0, on aggregate.

Patrick McEleney, Stephen McLaughlin and Rory Patterson were on target for the Airtricity Premier Division representatives at the Brandywell.

Portadown 0-1 Bohemians

Bohemians completed a 3-1 aggregate win over Portadown thanks to a solitary Adam Martin goal in the 86th minute at Shamrock Park.

Crusaders now lie in wait for Bohs in the last eight.

St Patrick's Athletic 0-1 Cliftonville

For the second season in a row, Liam Buckley's have fallen to Cliftonville in the Setanta Sports Cup, first round. Joe Gormley scored the only goal of the game, in the 69th minute, to give Cliftonville a 2-0 aggregate win.

The Irish League side now face Airtricity Premier Division champions Shamrock Rovers.

All ties will be played on March 5 and March 20.
