Arsene Wenger has made three changes for the Gunners' crucial clash against their fellow top-four hopefuls, who head into the game fresh from beating QPR 2-0 on Saturday

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has made three changes from the starting XI which beat Norwich City 3-1 for their crucial clash against Everton - including recalling Theo Walcott and Wojciech Szczesny.

The England international came off the bench on Saturday but gets a chance to impress in place of Gervinho.

Elsewhere, Szczesny replaces the injured Lukasz Fabianski in goal while Per Mertesacker comes straight back into the side after sitting out the win against the Canaries through suspension, replacing Thomas Vermaelen.

As for the visitors, Toffees boss David Moyes opts to make just the one change from the side which beat QPR in their previous match - handing a start to highly rated Ross Barkley in place of Leon Osman.

Arsenal starting XI: Szczesny; Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs; Arteta, Ramsey; Walcott, Wilshere, Cazorla; Giroud
Subs: Mannone, Vermaelen, Monreal, Rosicky, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Gervinho, Podolski

Everton starting XI: Howard; Coleman, Jagielka, Distin, Baines; Gibson, Barkley; Mirallas, Fellaini, Pienaar; Anichebe
Subs: Mucha, Heitinga, Jelavic, Oviedo, Naismith, Hitzlsperger, Neville
