Vincent Kompany is in the Manchester City starting line-up after having his three-match ban overturned for receiving a straight red card during the 2-0 victory against Arsenal last Sunday.

Martin Jol will be hoping Bryan Ruiz and Dimitar Berbatov can combine up front to put pressure on the Premier League champions, with Damien Duff and Ashkan Dejagah providing support for the skillful duo.

James Milner keeps his place in the City team after a fine goal and performance against the Gunners, while Carlos Tevez and Edin Dzeko have been handed starting roles as Roberto Mancini names an unchanged line-up from the Arsenal clash.

Javi Garcia also remains for the hosts in the absence of Yaya Toure, who is currently on international duty with the Ivory Coast at the Africa Cup of Nations, while Sergio Aguero returns from a three-week absence to take a place on the bench, as exclusively revealed by Goal.com on Wednesday.

Manchester City XI: Hart; Zabaleta, Kompany, Nastasic, Clichy; Garcia, Barry, Milner; Tevez, Dzeko, Silva.
Subs: Pantilimon, Lescott, Rodwell, Kolarov, Nasri, Balotelli, Aguero.

Fulham XI: Schwarzer; Riether, Hughes, Hangeland, Richardson; Duff, Sidwell, Karagounis, Dejagah; Ruiz; Berbatov.
Subs: Etheridge, Senderos, Baird, Petric, Briggs, Rodallega, Kacaniklic.
