TEAM NEWS: Xavi and Villa start for Barcelona in crunch game against Milan

Xavi starts for Barcelona in their Champions League clash against Milan at Camp Nou, after passing a fitness test earlier today.

The midfielder has recovered from a hamstring injury to take his place in midfield alongside Sergio Busquets and Andres Iniesta, but Carlos Puyol is on the bench for the Blaugrana.

Javier Mascherano replaces the Barcelona captain at centre-back, as the Spanish side look to overturn Milan's 2-0 lead from the first leg at San Siro.

In attack Lionel Messi is flanked by David Villa and Pedro, with Alexis Sanchez and Cristian Tello among the substitutes.

Milan line up as expected, with M'Baye Niang, Stephan El Shaarawy and Kevin-Prince Boateng in a forward three.

Both Boateng and Philippe Mexes have recovered from injuries to start tonight, with the French centre-back partnering Cristian Zapata in defence for Massimiliano Allegri's side.

Former Barcelona forward Bojan Krkic is on the bench for the away side.
