The towering attacker believes the Euro 2008 finalists can come out victorious in Brazil, regardless of their second-half display against the Blagult earlier this weekSweden striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic feels that Germany have the quality to go all the way at the 2014 World Cup despite their 4-4 draw in Tuesday's qualification game.
Germany have been heavily criticised after throwing away a 4-0 lead against the Blagult, but the attacker, who played a key role in his side's remarkable comeback, was impressed with the Nationalelf's performance in the opening 60 minutes.
"The Germans were absolutely fantastic in the opening hour. We perhaps played against the best team in the world, that can win the World Cup in 2014," the Paris Saint-Germain striker was quoted as saying by Bild.
"Things were looking very bad for us at one point. However, after the 4-1, we thought we could perhaps get something out of the game.
"Our performance was amazing as Germany are a great team."
Germany will be looking to get back on track in the international friendly against the Netherlands on November 14.
