The Spain international has spoken of his desire to play against the five-time World Cup winners at the famous stadium in Rio de Janeiro

Spain star Andres Iniesta says it would be "magical" to play against Brazil at the Maracana, which will host the finals of the 2013 Confederations Cup and 2014 World Cup.

The Selecao will get the Confederations Cup underway on June 15 with a Group A match against Japan, while the European champions, who have been drawn in Group B, will face Uruguay the following day.

"For any player to play in Brazil in the Maracana is unique, magical," the 29-year-old was quoted as saying by AS.

"It would be very nice and special to face Pato, Neymar and the rest of Brazil."

The Barcelona schemer also spoke about the most important goals he has scored during his career, including against Chelsea in the Champions League semi-final and the winning goal in the 2010 World Cup final.

"Having the opportunity and luck to score these goals is unique," said the 80-cap international. "They will be there forever. I'm privileged to be able to make so many people happy."

Meanwhile, Pato described playing against Iniesta as a "pleasure".

"He's a great player, a great champion," said the former AC Milan striker. "Barca are always very strong, I wish [them] many titles.

"It would be a thrilling final that everyone would see [between Spain and Brazil in 2013 or 2014]. Our football is more physical now with more tactical organisation then when I went to Europe.

"This development will benefit the team," he added.
