Van Persie & Robben make Netherlands squad for Germany friendly

The Manchester United striker and Bayern Munich winger are the star names in Oranje's selection for next week's encounter
Netherlands coach Louis van Gaal has announced his final 19-man squad for the upcoming international friendly against Germany on November 14.

The Oranje coach dropped players such as Daley Blind, Douglas, Gregory van der Wiel, Jordy Clasie, Adam Maher and Bas Dost from his provisional squad, but Vitesse youngster Marco van Ginkel has made the cut and is in line to make his debut for the senior side.

Manchester United striker Robin van Persie and Bayern Munich ace Arjen Robben are the biggest names included, but captain Wesley Sneijder is missing through injury.

Netherlands were beaten 2-1 by their arch-rivals at Euro 2012, and will be gunning for revenge in two weeks' time.
