Ancelotti denies Real Madrid meeting

The Paris Saint-Germain boss denies reports he has met with Blancos general manager Jose Angel Sanchez, while insisting he side must remain motivated for the final few games
Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti has denied meeting with Real Madrid over the possibility of taking over from Jose Mourinho this summer.

The Italian has been linked with the Santiago Bernabeu hot seat in recent weeks as Mourinho seemingly edges closer to the exit door, but he has dismissed reports suggesting he met with Blancos general manager Jose Angel Sanchez during the week.

"You can check what I've done this week," he told reporters at a press conference on Saturday. "[Last week] I spent two days in Deauville and did not see anyone."

Olympique de Marseille's win over Bastia on Saturday means PSG cannot be crowned champions for the first time since 1994 this weekend against Valenciennes, but Ancelotti insists his side must be fully motivated for every remaining fixture this season in order to get their hands on the trophy.

"I hope we will play a good match tomorrow. Until the end of the season, we will play every game with the same motivation," he continued.

"The atmosphere is good and it's easy for me to work with this group. The team has already evolved a lot and I don't think I have to change many things."
