Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti has said that the reports linking Jose Mourinho with a move to Parc des Princes are like a “guillotine” over his head.
The Real Madrid coach’s future has been under speculation recently, with suggestions that he could be ready to move to the Ligue 1 side, and Ancelotti has admitted the talk does not make for the best working environment.
“[The talk of] Mourinho? Yes, it’s a guillotine over my head,” he told reporters.
“Obviously when a team starts a championship with high goals and then things go wrong, it creates instability and people criticise the coach.”
PSG have qualified for the knock-out stages of the Champions League, finishing top of Group A after beating Porto 2-1 at Parc des Princes on Tuesday.
However, they are currently five points off Ligue 1 leaders Olympique Lyonnais and sit in fourth place.
